Advice and Comments

PC 647(i)

CIMT: Should not be CIMT because offense is completed by peeking, with no intent to commit further crime[mfn]In re Joshua M., 91 Cal. App. 4th 743 (Cal. App. 4th Dist. 2001). The purpose of the law is “not to protect the property and safety of householders; it is designed to control ‘peeping Toms’ and other persons of that type.” People v. Lopez (1967) 249 Cal.App.2d 93, 103.[/mfn] but there is not case on point.
